The Zip file includes the Polar.Sis file . Copy this file to your Psion, then double-tap to install. Do not install via PsiWin, since this is often unreliable.
This program was originally written to meet my own personal need to manage my CiX Conferencing account (see http://web.conferencing.co.uk/default.asp for more details) on my Psion.
Beta 5 (which was available to download from September 2001) was then taken up by Andrew Giddings, and together Andy and I produced the next version of the program. Andy's hard work is visible all through the program (particularly for those users who used Beta 5) but are particularly to be seen in the blink support, improved scratchpad handling, listbox selection support, and the absence of crashes!
The program is released into the wider Psion community together with the OPL source code (available for download above). The Listbox module in particular should be useful to a wider group of coders, as it supports an arbitrary number of event-driven separate listboxes which can each have many thousands of elements.
The program is still a work-in-progress, and the current "to do" list is set out in the main Polar.opl source. CiXen are welcome to contact the authors (gidds and cornelivs) on CiX in the Polar_Olr conference.
For other details and utilities for the Psion, see Andrew Giddings' home page: http://www.cix.co.uk/~gidds/.
